Artists usually join Aspire Essentials at this stage through a direct referral from someone we trust, or through our A&R submission & review process. Once you’re in, we offer the following support:

Aspire Distro+

Designed for a boutique group of artists we think are commanding attention, and at the brink of success. Generally, milestones for this stage can include landing high profile synch placements, radio rotation, or exploding streaming numbers.

Some artists join Aspire at this stage, generally through a manager or lawyer, but our structure is built on upstreaming artists from Aspire Essentials. Once you’re part of the family, we’ll work with you to design a custom strategy that includes a combination of the following services via the Aspire and WKM team:

You’ll have a dedicated point person at Aspire to call your own. They’ll set your releases up for success, solidify your campaign strategy, and ensure you’re always informed on best practices for your artist brand.

FUNDING

Project Funding

With enough traction and momentum, you’ll have access to Aspire’s DISTROadvance program. We’ll contribute funding to your project for tours, PR, Marketing, Recording & Production, and more. We usually take a few more percentage points, but you control the budget and you’re free to make your next move after the campaign.

SYNC AND DSP SUPPORT

Sync and Playlisting Promotion

Our global team, along with our partners at WKM Music Publishing will seek opportunities to place your music in key playlists, film & TV, ads, movie trailers, jukeboxes, and anywhere else we think we can help you get exposure.

For artists who are ready to unlock the advantages of Aspire Records / WKM Music Group, our global record label+publishing.

At this stage, we’re with you every step of the way. We’ll design a customized recording agreement, usually involving a combination of the following:

We front the investment. You approve the marketing budget, and keep creative control. We’ll take a percentage of revenue that depends on the agreement, but you maintain the lion’s share.
